Therapy can be one of the best investments in yourself you can make. All individual therapy sessions are $125/session. Sessions last between 50-60 minutes. I do accept the following forms of insurance: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross of CA, Blue Shield of CA, BC/BS Massachusetts, Cigna, Oscar Heath, Oxford, and United Healthcare. I do accept HSA (Healthcare Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards as forms of payment. I can also provide you with a superbill you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of out-of-network expenses incurred. You will be responsible for ensuring that your insurance provider receives the provided superbill and is able to reimburse you for some, most, or all of the money invested in sessions with me.
Per Federal guidelines, see below link to review The Good Faith Estimate.
Thanks to modern technology, therapy is no longer just a service provided within the confines of an office setting. All of my individual therapy sessions with clients are completed online. As the client, you get the luxury of attending your therapy sessions wherever you're most comfortable and at a time that works best for your schedule. I utilize a confidential, secure, encrypted platform to conduct all of my teletherapy services with clients. Information regarding how to access the virtual session room will be provided to you prior to our your first intake appointment.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a popular treatment intervention commonly used to help clients who are struggling with various intrusive thoughts, overwhelming sensations, and unwanted consequences incurred after the onset of a traumatic event. I commonly utilize this modality in my online trauma work with clients and would be happy to explore this option with you if you're interested.
I'm a Registered Art Therapist with the Art Therapy Credentialing Board (ATCB #16-229). I've utilized art therapy strategies in order to help treat a wide variety of clinical issues over the course of my career (including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, difficulty coping with family dynamics, and grief). At this time, I'm limited in the way I can implement art therapy remotely with my clients, but do oftentimes suggest creative arts strategies that can be done outside of sessions that can assist with healing.
